        We host several screencasts for Dabo that used to be horrendously slow 
when I hosted them on my server. What I would suggest (blatant plug alert!) 
would be to upload any large files to Rackspace Cloud Files, where you can then 
click a checkbox to mark them for CDN distribution. Once that's done, your 
large files will be served to your users via the Limelight Content Delivery 
Network, eliminating any bottlenecks as far as speed is concerned.
