Thank you all so much for the replys.  Styze - I need an "I like" button
too.

We've discussed escrow too - they wanted to keep the source code with their
lawyer.  Not happening!  As far as I'm concerned that's not even close to an
independent 3rd party.  Here in Australia I've looked into databank.com.au
but have never used them before.

I like your comments Frank on giving them an option at the outset of the
project and also am glad too Bill that like you said, I've identified the
Shark early in the piece and are taking steps not to become "dinner".

Just wanted to make sure I was on the right page with regards to software
source ownership.

I'll leave it on hold at the moment and wait for their lawyer to get back to
me with their terms for the contract.  I think the dangerous assumption they
have made is that we will automatically agree to them!
