Always seems ironic: the people who would benefit the most from an electric -- those who drive the most and spend mega $$ on gas -- can't use one due to range. I, too, drive little -- roughly 7K/year. No way could I cost/justify it. As a matter of fact, we are thinking of getting a hoggier vehicle at a bargain to satisfy a specific need we have. I would drive it, since the marginal cost would be so low.
