I have a Beretta 90-TWO and Beretta PX4, both chambered in 9mm. I also brought my wife a 9mm PX4, about six months ago, after she nagged for a couple of years. The 9mm ball ammo, (eg full metal jacket in 115gr), is a NATO standard round that has been criticism by many currently in the military, and many ex-military types, as not heavy duty enough, and perhaps that is true. However, the ammo available to civvies, like you and I, in 9mm are much more lethal and hard hitting than the NATO standard 9mm, so I'm satisfied its a good defensive round for anyone not bound to the NATO standard.
