Tariffs the way I advocate them are not "aggressive" and hence retaliation is not the term I would use. Personally I think if all nations merely taxed the flow of goods and services across boundaries, that would provide every country with sufficient revenue for limited government. As for environmental laws and all that... a big topic. My major point is that tariffs are just a means of getting revenue.
