As a Christian we are told to take care of the poor.

I see here in my town how DRs are avoiding taking older patients
because of Medicare. Getting services for my mom I am in this issue
first hand.

As science defines newer gene traits tied to disease our insurance
companies will only WRITE into all policies that they no longer cover
these events. They are a business to make a profit and why should
anything get in the way of making $$$.

Do I like how this Health Bill was spawned? Hell NO!

Do I think there is merit with it's intent? Yes I do.

We are now at a slippery point to keep what is good because there is a
lot of great assets in that law. Also some bad ones.

How can any of us truly say what is good or bad in it by watching news
or reading blogs as compared to reading the whole thing? I don't have
that time, but I am sure there is a lot of protection in there that as
we age will protect us as compared to expecting the Health Insurance
Industry to do that for us.

Now the point of illegals and health care. Those illegals do a lot of
work under false identification. Taxes are collected for those false
ID numbers. Our government takes that money before it is disbursed as
cash/check so they are paying a little even though they do not file a
return.
