I just tried this in VFP9 SP2 with the latest hotfix and form 3 kept 
focus.  My VFP 9 version() returns 09.00.000.7423  Hopefully I 
replicated what you were trying to do properly.  Just to be sure email 
me the three simple forms directly and i'll see what happens
