I would go for the Fuji x100, if I were you.  It's advertised as a 
compact camera with DSLR quality built in, that is geared towards the 
professional/enthusiast.  I've never been that into cameras.  The 
Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 come with an AI setting, (eg Auto Intelligence), 
that handles most everything for me without the need to mess with manual 
controls to fine tune pictures.  The AI setting gives me astonishing 
video/audio and pictures, so I love my camera.
