I would go for the Fuji x100, if I were you. It's advertised as a compact camera with DSLR quality built in, that is geared towards the professional/enthusiast. I've never been that into cameras. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 come with an AI setting, (eg Auto Intelligence), that handles most everything for me without the need to mess with manual controls to fine tune pictures.
