Instead of a full-blown linux box, how about a DD-WRT compatible router? DD-WRT (and it's kin Openwrt and Tomato) is based on linux, and you can follow these instructions<http://www.techenclave.com/guides-and-tutorials/multiple-pub lic-ips-one-router-using-100375.html><http://tinyurl.com/59kkbf> to accomplish this task. If you don't want WIFI you could disable it. You could re-purpose an old desktop box for this, but the electricity savings with a dedicated router appliance would more than pay for the purchase price. dt -- Dave Thayer Denver, CO _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
