I think about it sometimes. There are worse places to work. People are (mostly) nice, the work is challenging and interesting, and the checks don't bounce. Lol And the company IS growing. Plus I hate job searching and am tired of changing jobs; I started here in July of last year.
The culture here has to change, that is one of the reasons I was brought on board. But I was supposed to be given some level authority, and my hands are tied because that hasn't happened. I spend a great deal of time pulling bugs out of the code written by the former Programming Supervisor. WORST code I have ever seen. I have a file of 'interesting' code snippets for laughs. One of my favorites is the frequent use of @ Say commands in VFP9 apps, and forms with no text or instructions.. just [Begin] and [Cancel] buttons. Sometimes it is better to laugh than cry... ls -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Paul McNett Sent: Monday, February 07, 2011 9:37 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: VFP and Source control Thanks!
