If these "requirements" are really at the 1% level, then you might invite the user to try out the Windows Magnifier (in the Accessories, Ease of Use) bin. It really works well, does not hash up the organization/appearance, and the price is right. OTOH, if more than 10% of the users find the size/resolution unsatisfactory, then you might ask them exactly what it is that they need changed. I will guarantee you that, whether you change anything or not, you will gain points just by asking.
