  * Got a call from my (one remaining) client yesterday afternoon.
  *
  * His newly installed AVG 2011 anti-virus had decided that his (VFP9)
order-
  * processing system was a virus and moved it to the "vault"!

  * We ended up telling AVG to recall the .exe from the vault, which worked.
  * I turned off the "active protection", with some fair amount of protest
from
  * AVG, but did not succeed in turning off the firewall.
  *
  * Oh, yes. We tried, and it would not uninstall!

Dan, FYI, I don't know if there's a free or trial version, but when I
confront programs that "won't uninstall by traditional approaches under
Windows, I use "Revo Uninstaller". It uninstalls anything. :) under normal
or safe modes. Best of luck to you.
