Ah! Sorry, I didn't mean the grid control, I meant arranging the forms on the 
screen in a grid similar to the way windows Explorer arranges a folder of. Jpgs 
in thumbnail view mode. The grid control will be way too complicated for this 
application.

I totally agree but I need a snipit of how to display the .jpg.. I will
assume it will go in the grid afterRowChange  Normally I would just do a
page or object refresh. Can you give me a rough example .. do I change the
recordSource of the oleBox... I know I'm close. Looking forward to scrolling
through multiple pic's per plant. I have all photo's stored so I will just
remove the general field when I get the code figured out.... and build the
photo link table to all of the plants [oh boy].

Can you copy out the general field contents back to jpg's for all your
records? I ask because there are many reasons why I wouldn't want the
image feeds to be physically part of the db. Add a field to contain
the full path to the jpg and populate it programmaticly.
