Really? Does it take hours to get fighter jets, drones and paratroops
anywhere in the middle east? They could have asked Israel, for
heaven's sake!
The state department has not yet gotten to the bottom of this, including
the motive behind the attack. The Israeli Mossad could be behind it for
all I know with the motive of giving Mitt Romney's campaign ammunition
with which to attack President Obama.
The relationship between Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel,
and President Obama doesn't seem to be on the best of terms
No excuse is possible - Bammer could have had Bush ask him!
Anything is possible. I'm not getting mush out of "Bammer could have
had Bush ask him". Could you explain.
"mush" should be right up your alley. I meant, if relations between
Bammer and Bibi are really that bad, either HW or W could give Bibi a
call for help - THEY are on good terms with him!
I think Israel would help even Bammer diplomatic insults aside if an
embassy is under attack, as it was. If they got there before the
building was breached, and they might have, the four US citizens would
have been saved. AK47s and RPGs can't match the Gatling guns on the
jets. What if Israeli jets had been on manoeuvres 20 miles away?
I'll bet the marines are in the embassies now!
