I have used West Wind Web Connect to create browser front-ends to a VFP application. Some of them used database backends, especially SQL Server. There's lots of VFP left in it. HTML on the front end and SQL on the back still leaves a lot of the application - the essential business rules, models and controllers - in VFP.
