I notice an increasing amount of trafic regarding the install packing up
at the first stage. I have 2 windows boxes sitting in front of me which
need to duel boot into linux. However the installer fails at the first
stage. I have done lots of progeny installs before and not seen this
before. All I get after the boot messages and the mouse detect is a
blank white screen. The video cards are sis 6326. I notice someone else
mentioned sis cards before. Looks like a problem Progeny people. Will I
be able to use X with these cards if I do a manuel install from the
rescue disk? More to the point does anyone know why these are not
working during the first stage?
