yes, you're absolutely right and i apologize for the intrusion on this forum. i just wanted to respond to roger to thank him and to explain that i am a very big fan of J - it's APL but even cooler (i hate procedural languages and still can't write a Do Loop to save my life. but with J and WL, "we don't need no stinking loops" to use a line from the movies LOL
