I can concur- -the difference between *@* and*@:* is important in some
cases because of rank (which I don't really grasp-- possibly because of
age related senility, it takes me a bit linger to catch on to such
things. The problem with the vocabulary and the dictionary references is
that the examples are often more complex than needed (possibly because
of a need to be comprehensive within tight limits-and the complications
that could be clear, rather than buried, could be handled in a more "J
for Dummies" way -then WOW!
If Nuvoc does this then kudos. to all that have worked on this.
I also am very appreciative of the support and guidance given on
"programm...@software.com" .
Thank you all.

Can we hear the authoritative voice of a genuine beginner about this?
As a voice of a beginner (6 months in), I agree that the rank is
advanced information. In fact, it probably took 2 or 3 months for me
to figure out what the series of numbers on the top of each dictionary
entry are. I think a "how to read the dictionary" might be helpful
somewhere. I am fine clicking through to get it on the dictionary and
probably would not have benefited having it on NuVoc in the beginning
or even now.
