I see what you meant, there are 2 menu items under Run. Run > file and Run > file display in which a file chooser poped up and run a chosen file. These 2 items had gone in Jqt. There are probably some reasons for that but I cannot be sure.
As a workaround, try this Term menu File > Open in Folder > home, choose and open a script in editor pane. and then run from editor menu Run > load script. load verb requires the correct file path and depends on your current working directory, you can check the absolute path name using jpath 'yourfile' essentially load works like 0!:0< jpath 'yourfile' Чт, 29 сен 2016, Donald Pittenger написал(а): > Bill, > > I haven’t programmed in J for 5 or 6 years, so I’m probably doing something > wrong. > > But I tried ‘load’ and keep getting error messages because the system cannot > seem to follow the desired filepath. > > Working via ‘File’ items resulted in error messages. > > J6 allowed one to step through directory levels until one found the target > script for loading.
