well, for what it's worth, removing all those quarantine flags made no
difference.

If I `sudo tail -f /private/var/log/system.log` and then try `open
./jqt.app` i see this in the log output: I can't tell if the 126 is from
launchd or apprun.

with abnormal code: 126

I'm on Catalina 10.15.2
