cder gave 2 0 meaning that the symbol cannot be found inside the bar.so, most
probably the fortran compiler mangled the function name 'bar' to '_bar' or
'bar_', consult your compiler's documentation for exact the name mangling
scheme. J itself knows nothing about name mangling.
BTW 0+>:i.10 or even 0.0+>:i.10 cannot coerce integers to doubles, but
(0.5-0.5)+>:i.10 is ok, there are other variations too.
try

In linux or mac, there is only one calling convection so that the '+' after the
function name is not required or recommended.
