I just uninstalled the R package and then installed rsrv250.exe, as you
suggested, and it worked.
Only two problems:
The VB debugger opened with a complaint, something about Excel.
Thinking it would be repeatable, I closed it to concentrate on getting
the J interface to work, and now the debugger isn't complaining.
The test case on the Wiki page now works, except that I get a
different answer. :-)
I think I'll ignore both.
Now I guess I need to relearn R.
