First off, note that
   +/"1 _]1 2 3 4
10

The "1 _ is irrelevant.

So the above expression would be equivalent to
   g=: (0 1 2,:0 2 1){ops
   g/1 2 3 4

Anyways, I imagine that the problem is that 0{ g and
1 { g would not be structured properly to be treated
as gerunds.
