I use linux fedora 8 which may explain some things mentioned below.
First, the good news: I made a useful small program with J in about one
fifth the
time it would have taken in Java (for example).
Now the bad news: wd 'setfont' doesn't.
wd 'set <field>' , <string> fails if
<string> contains spaces.
Form Editor does OK with new forms but
gives trouble when
editing 'old' forms: it won't action changes.
If anyone knows of a more detailed description of Form Editor, please
let me know.
I did search the last two month's postings but failed to find any
comments on the
above topics.
