I don't see any reason not to have J64 and J32 on the same 64 bit OS.  Perhaps 
there are configuration issues that will make that difficult, I have not tried 
it.

I suspect that some programs will run faster in J32 than J64.  There will be 
some programs that will only run in J64 due to 64 bit data or memory 
requirements.

I'll see what results I get with the viewmat test and J64 on 64 bit Linux the 
next time I'm at my 64 bit machine.
