Ken,

In Excel 2007 VBA, I was able to add a reference to JDLLServer by using the
Visual Basic Editor Tools->References.. dialog. I browsed to j.dll in the
J602/bin directory. This added an Available Reference of

Jsoftware: JDLLServer Type Library

I only have Excel on a 32 bit system, so I could not test this with J64-602.
The same process will hopefully work on a 64 bit system by going to the
J64-602/bin directory.
