OK, the real issue is not the redirect or not redirect, but that the Jwiki software puts the URL name in big bold letters of the final (redirected or not) URL on the top of the page. If this big bold title does not matter, then it doesn't matter what name you use, because presumably you'd have the real title, totally under your control, in the text of the page itself.
This is the approach taken by many of the well-known websites, such as Google, for whose many pages the URL does not have "meaningful names".
