In some English-speaking cultures, # is called "hash", though its "proper" name is "octothorp" sometimes said to be because the symbol shows eight fields around a village. I don't know what you are proposing to call / and \ but many have found the "backward/forward slash" names hard to swallow. In some quarters the / is called simply "slash" and \ is called "slosh", a usage which has the advantage of simplicity. In similar style "quit" for ' and "quote" for " suggest themselves.
