The key that you use for / is used for þ on my keyboard. Some years ago I was working with assigning Unicode numbers to a keyboard map for an APL mapping. I am not sure how easy it is to have it a configure option what keycombination to use for individual operations like advancing lab or sp. Maybe assigning a keymap to nouns in a locale?
