Dear Samuele,
I use IE7 on WinXP. The encode of My IE7 is UTF-8 when I use Invenio. I cannot
see the drop down menu at "Edit members" menu.
I also tried with IE8 on WinXP. I CAN see the drop down menu. This is OK.
But I see another disorderly format webpage when I click "Administrator" when
I login my invenio as an admin.
The encode of the IE8 is UTF-8.
I tired also with Forefox7 on WinXP. It seems all pages are OK.
I want to know what kind of browsers INvenio-1.0.0-rc0 supports.
What kind of browser do you use at CERN ? and the version?
Do I miss some configuration on my browser IE7/IE8 ?
Is there any configuration for browser in Invenio?
Thank you very much !!
Regards,
Lanxin

indeed, in the HTML you attached, in particular in the file
"edit-members-grp1.txt", one can well see:
[...]
<td style="padding: 0 5 10 5;">
<select name="pending_member_id" style="width:100%">
<option value="-1">Please select:</option>
<option value="20">lanxinma126</option>
<option value="26">皮哦</option>
</select>
</td>
[...]
which is precisely the HTML to render the drop down menu to approve the
two pending accounts, and which is the missing part in your screenshots.
The HTML seems well formatted, therefore I suspect some particular
browser issue. I see that you are using Internet Explorer on Windows XP.
I can not test currently this particular configuration, but have you
tried accessing the page with other browsers? Is your current browser
enforcing some particular character encoding? (Invenio by default sends
pages, and needed headers, in UTF-8).
Best regards,
Samuele
