In the latest versions of
BibEdit the 'Delete record' button is hidden by default and only visible
when clicking the + button close to the word 'Record' (on the left
panel) Maybe now it is too hidden?
This sounds indeed a bit too much easter egg hunting. ;)
My main (inital) problem was that it was pretty much located at "delete
selected" and "submit". I think, to place it on the other side of the
page (or with a decent amount of space between it and not so much used
buttons) is sufficient. @HGF we just made the Delete button shiny red.
