Could it be that your indexer did not work properly? Did you try to reindex? Probably forced? (bibindex --help might be your friend here.) As you're mentioning a test installation, a very silly question: you have a bibindex task in your bibshed? While I was playing around wiht uploads and stuff I disabled it deliberatly for some time myself. And I even ran into a problem with "indexing not working" simply cause I should have switched it on ;) BTW: Submitter is usually stored in 8560_f.
I know I need to get that fixed as well, but I was delving around in the db, and I could see that by submissions were at least found in there, so I thought a direct query might provide a workaround for my problem.
