Entering rainy season, Central Jakarta City Government continuously prepares various ways to anticipate flood disaster. Recently, Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department has prepared various logistics assistance such as 4 tons of rice and cooking utensils. It is expected can minimize flood impact. “We are not only constructing facility and infrastructure, yet also preparing logistic needs for flood victim or other disasters,” expressed Ireni as Head of Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department, Monday (10/10). Due to limited budget, her side only prepares cooking utensils for families. Later on, it will be disbursed based on priority scale. Syahrul as Head Section of Social Guarantee for Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department added that his sides also prepare other logistics assistance, such as 300 boxes instant noodles, 300 kg oil cooking, 300 kg sugar, 100 boxes Sardines, 50 boxes soy sauce, 150 sheets mat, 150 sheets blanket, 100 sheets tarpaulin, 150 pieces house dress, 300 pieces school uniform and 50 sets kitchen utensils. “Jakarta Social Department will help them if there is logistic deficiency,” he expressed.
