Apologies for the late reply, you could try downloading a server (from www.qualecad.com) that will allow you to re-designate selected components in your PCB. The server has detailed instructions on setup and use, and it works like a charm. _______________________________________________________________ Clive Broome IDT Sydney Design Centre Ph: +61 2 9763 3513 8 Bayswater Dr, Homebush Fax: +61 2 9763 3409 Sydney, NSW, 2127 Email:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Australia Australia's Leading Microelectronic Designers --------------------------------------------------------------- "Graziella COMISSO" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> on 03/27/2001 07:24:39 PM Please respond to "Protel EDA Forum" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Protel EDA Forum" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> cc: (bcc: Clive Broome/sdc) Subject: Re: [PEDA] How can I keep designators from changing during the renumbering of a PCB?
I know how you can do in Schematics if it can help you, you can select these parts in schematics and when you annotate all your project, you check "ignore selected parts" option vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Graziella COMISSO [EMAIL PROTECTED] Development engineer MIDI SYSTEM 105 voie C Parc d'Activité de l'Argile 06370 Mouans Sartoux FRANCE ----- Message d'origine ----- De : "John Branthoover" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> À : "'Protel EDA Forum'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Envoyé : mercredi 21 mars 2001 17:15 Objet : [PEDA] How can I keep designators from changing during the renumbering of a PCB? > Hello All, > During the renumbering of a PCB, is there a way to lock specified parts > such as connectors so that their designators are not changed?
