I noticed that if I had my Templates.DDB project open when exiting 99SE, the
crash occurred every time. On a hunch, I closed the Templates.DDB project
before exiting the program, and it didn't crash then.

I could not find any event in the Event logger that indicated Protel as the
app that caused the error. So, Protel is smart enough to avoid blame in the
error log, but not smart enough to not crash when exiting!
