Running Protel 99SE sp6, already had the DisplaySplashScreen=True setting in my Client99se.ini file; simply changed it to false and it works (opened and closed protel a couple of times to make sure). The first time I had protel already open and it clobbered the setting back to the original setting of true, but when I edited it with protel closed it stayed false.
