Here is the low down with the Matrox video cards.

Make sure you use only 32 bit video modes for both screens.

Make sure you have the latest motherboard AGP drivers.

If you have a Creative Labs sound card, or motherboards sound chip, go to Creative 
Labs web site & get the latest drivers.

This usually fixes 95% of the crashes which have been generated by the Matrox video 
cards.
