Absolutely true.  I've been using e-teknet (Sam Jiang) for prototype and
small run production for the last few months and they are outstanding -- the
Gerbers get emailed to Arizona, he sends them on to Taiwan, takes care of
importing them back, and then sends them to you, all in ten days working
time.  Another good one in Bulgaria is www.olimex.com run by a guy named
Tstevan.  The nice thing about Olimex is that Tstevan double and triple
checks your work to see if you made any obvious clearance or manufacturing
tolerance errors.

If you have to stay in the US, Advanced Circuits in Denver is pretty good,
but far pricier than either of these other two.
