However, I have no problems sticking with P99SE - Altium need the money more than I need DXP. They have made absolutely no improvements to their core capabilities: PCB routing.

Why do you "want" to change to DXP2004 then? (You mentioned that you would like to upgrade in your first message in the thread, as long as they restored the old globals.)
