I have spent some time developing a protocol buffer compiler in the D language. The wiki page is located at "https://256.makerslocal.org/ wiki/index.php/ProtocolBuffer" and the SVN repository that contains the compiler is located at "http://opticron.no-ip.org/svn/branches/ PBCompiler". Please, note that you'll actually have to check out the branch, since the backend library it uses is in a svn:externals reference to a different location in the same repository. The compiler itself needs some work, but the generated code seems to generate and parse byte strings correctly. Please add my project to your third party compilers page.
