[Prototype-core] Re: Element.update on images. Bug or Feature Request?

A suspicious user will quickly wonder why IMG tags have an update
function that has no effect.  I haven't looked deep enough into the
code that Prototype executes to extend even those empty elements, but
maybe ignoring those elements in that code will shave some time off of
Prototype's initialization.
