Could anyone please let me know why Ajax request in the following
manner is not setting up the correct encoding. It looks like prototype
is using default utf-8 encoding.
var params = Form.serialize("my_form");
new Ajax.Request(url, {
method: 'post',
parameters: params,
asynchronous: true,
encoding: '<%= com.myclass.getEncoding() %>', //my case its
iso-8859-1
onComplete: change,
onFailure: showError
});
