Hello, I am happy to announce that the KOffice team has reach a decision on the date for the first Release Candidate of the upcoming 2.0 release. The tag will happen on April, 1th, for a release a week after that.
If everythings goes well, the final 2.0 is expected to happen within three weeks after that (tag around April, 22th, release on 29th). One should note that the 2.0 release of KOffice will bear a lot of similarity with the 4.0 release of KDE, in a sense that it will comes with some glitches, and some missing features, and that it lays the foundation and the start for future 2.x releases. -- Cyrille Berger
