Hi Slau,
Yes, it seems like some of the fixes are applied to Mavericks only.
I can't confirm with Mavericks, but this is what I gathered so far after
trying pt 11.1.2 with Mountain Lion 10.8.5.
counter displays: read
Aax plugin Parameter: Read
Button state: don't read
Track list Table: Don't read
The recommendation would be to avoid Mountain Lion and upgrade to
Mavericks with PT 11.1.2.

Hi Chi,
Ah, now I now that this is a VoiceOver issue because the same version
of Pro Tools running under Mavericks as opposed to Mountain Lion does
not exhibit the same problem. This was the case with counter displays
not being read and buttons not revealing their states.
Indeed, clicking on the first column of that table will show or hide
the track. Unfortunately, you won't know whether it's shown unless you
either check the mixer section or move to the second column and bring
up the contextual menu which would certainly make you want to shoot
yourself to go through that tediousness.
Maybe the school will make an exception for you and install Mavericks
on just one machine? That might be asking too much, I suppose. Anyway,
hang in there and thanks for letting me know about the ML behavior.
Cheers,
Slau

Hi Slau,
When I'm inside the track list table and move VO cursor, VO only says
something like column 1 row 1, column 2 row 2, column 1 row 2, and so
on. VO reports the track name outside track list table though.
If I click on the first column for each row inside the track list
table, it show/hide the track. However, VO says selected empty cell.
Another thing I found is that VO no longer reports whether something
is selected or not. All the toggles on the edit view. I.E. tab to
transients, midi mirror editing, and so on.
Fortunately VO seems to read the plugins parameter fine under
Mountain Lion. Yea!
I just clean installed Mountain Lion and updated to 10.8.5, and the
only program I have is PT11. The reason I'm on Mountain Lion is that
the school doesn't support Mavericks yet.

Hi chi,
That's surprising. I only tested PT 11 under Mountain Lion before
major work was done. After that, I only had it running under
Mavericks. I do believe others had tested it under Mountain Lion,
however. Are you aware that the track list table in PT 11 was
rewritten so that the show/hide control and name appeared as
separate items, right? You're not seeing anything but reports of
what column and row you're on? That's bizarre.
Has anyone else seen this under Mountain Lion?

Thanks Slau, that's good to know.
I just installed Pro Tools 11.1.2 on Mountain Lion. One thing I
noticed right away is that VoiceOver doesn't read the track list
table. It just says what column and row I'm on instead of the track
name.
Do you know if this is Mountain Lion only issue, or it's the same
for Mavericks?
Thanks,
Chi

Works with Mountain Lion, too.

Hi All,
Does latest update PT11 work with Mountain Lion, or the
accessibility fixes only work with Mavericks?
Thanks,
