Hello John, when you create this new track for reverb, it needs to be
created as an AAX stereo track. Once that track is created as track two, you
need to interact with it, and change the input to say, bus 1/2 or 3/4. Now
you want to go to the track where you have the instrument on and interact
with it, go to your send area and it will be set up like your affects area,
click on send a and assign it to track 1/2 or /3/4 or whatever you assigned
the input to on your aax track. Now click on the "A", in your send, and when
you get into the parameters of that send, the volume will be set all the way
down to INF, I bring mine up to 0DB by using VO space and then bring it down
to about -7DB, this is the amount of the instrument that you are sending to
the AAX bus. After this you can assign whatever affect you want on the aax
bus in the insert channels and it will affect the instrument that you are
sending into that aax bus. As you said, you can turn it up or down within
the aax bus as well.

Subject: Affects on a different track

Hello all,

I have track 1 as audio with a stereo recording in place.

Track 2 is an aux stereo reverb. So I can control the amount of reverb by
just adjusting the volume of track 2 on track 1 I have 1 and 2 bus for
sending. On track 2 use bus 1 and 2 going to receive on track 2 but I
stilll hear no reverb on track 2 even when sololing.

I hope I explained what I want to do and feel free to ask questions or
advice.

Take care,

John
