For clarification, Not referring to a hardware ADAT tape machine. This is
referring to ADAT I/O you can add to existing interface that has an ADAT
connector on it. A lot of interfaces has an ADAT connector that allows you
to add up to 8 additional channels of IO over the ADAT Port.

This guy doesn't know much about ProTools, although he's dying to learn
more from what I understand. There is a guy named Terry, and I think he's
in Minesoda, but anyway, I know he's worked a lot with an ADat hardware
machine, and is blind.
He might be able to help you.

Subject: ADAT
Hey, Need some more I/O and considering either a second interface or
adding more I/O to the current one via ADAT. Any blind user have any
experiences with and ADAT system? Pros/Cons? I am concerned about keeping
the sample rates in sync as these are usually denoted via flashing lights
or etc and loosing I/O count if you want to record above 48,000khz.
However the last is more Theoretical as i don’t presume I will be
recording a full drum kit anytime soon. Just wanted some thoughts.
Thanks and hope everyone enjoys the Holiday if celebrating.
