Hi John, There's nothing strange about the session start being 0 bars providing you specifically define bar 2 as being bar 1. Otherwise, bar 1 will be the starting number. Often people do include a pickup bar as bar zero. Did you create this session file or open an existing file? You can go to the Session window to see what the start time of the session is. I can't tell what the exact problem is. One thing I would check is the actual marker location. You say you created a marker at bar 4. I would look at the memory locations window to see where bar 4 is said to be and whether it is, in fact a marker. A memory location can be a marker location or it could be a selection or a series of properties like various tracks shown or hidden, track heights, a zoom setting, etc. So, I'm starting to think that you may not actually have a marker, per se, but a memory location set whose properties are not necessarily a marker in the timeline. One way to check this is to call up the marker as you normally would and then take one more step and that is to hit period, the marker number and then, instead of period again, press the Enter key on the num pad. This will bring up the dialog for that memory location. There, you'll see the properties of that memory location. Check your settings there. If it is, in fact a marker, close the window, move to the right bar location, then bring up that dialog in the same manner and this time, it'll remember the new location. Let me know if that doesn't make sense and I'll try to clarify further.
