Hi John, Good to hear it went smoothly. I thought it would work. I'm not sure about how this works with version 10 but, with version 12, you can set the Avid Application Manager to not come up automatically. It's not accessible, per se, and some folks have reported trouble with shutdowns. To prevent the Application Manager from loading, go to your Library folder and, within the Launch select the two plist files with Avid.ApplicationManager in the name. There should only be two such files in there. Move them to another folder outside the Library folder and reboot. Having done this, you'll have to manually launch the Application Manager to have it check for updates. Since it's not yet accessible, that doesn't seem like a concern. If, however, you don't experience trouble with shutting down, nothing wrong with just leaving things the way they are.
