The rest of the tracks are solo instruments and ensembles of various kinds, a
few song excerpts, SMPTE and tuning tones. It was a commercial release but
hasn't been available for some time. I heard they put out a version that
actually included a measurement mic built into the CD case. Interesting concept
but we're now talking 25 years ago. These days, one can easily generate more
accurate tones at a higher resolution but it's still sometimes handy to have a
physical disc around. I keep a copy of this on one of the drives and open a
session containing the tracks when I occasionally need to troubleshoot.

Incidentally, for those who want to quickly create a simple sine wave in the
Pro Tools timeline, make a selection and press control+Option+Shift+3. Two
things to note: 1. you'll notice it's essentially the same shortcut as the
consolidation shortcut with an added Control modifier and 2. You'll need to
pass through the shortcut because of the Control+Option combination in the
shortcut. It's a super quick way to generate a tone from a track without having
to instantiate a plug-in.
