Their plug ins have always been accessible in the DAW, so you can use them in 
pro tools logic, Reaper, etc etc. Where they aren’t accessible is in the UAD 
Console, and  you will need to use the UAD console  if you want to take 
advantage of unison technology, and record through the UAD plug ins as if you 
are actually plugged into that piece of gear. Unless something changed recently 
the UAD console was still inaccessible last I checked.
